Our ally, the goblin ally, anyways, pretty much instantly ran off to the loot, and took the dagger and the cloak, replacing her old equipment before I even had a chance to ask who wanted it. My attention quickly turned from scolding her to noticing the falcon looking creature with the staff in its beak looking down at us. R'lyeh seemed to have a name for the thing, but I didn't even know what it was. I then whisper "What is that? Some human cursed by a witch, or something? Can it even do magic? It is holding a staff," to R'lyeh, hoping that the creature, like most birds, had a rather poor sense of hearing. That being said, however, birds, those of prey especially, had amazing vision, so, it could have read my honestly non-existent lips, and somehow figured out what I was saying from there. Everyone else seemed to be calling to the bird, so, I eventually shouted "Hey! We're friends here! Um, if you saw that whole goblin thing, they were thieves, they were trying to kill us and take our valuables! Heck, this goblin used to be with them, she can tell you the whole story!" I then remember our new ally with the cloak and dagger, and turn back towards her, and finally ask "What's your name, anyways? You seemed kinda embarrassed about it earlier," she then looks around, as if someone else would say her name so she wouldn't have to, but, upon realizing that wouldn't happen, she mumbles "Backstabs-her-friends," I then take a few steps away from her, remembering that goblins usually had some sort of oracle decide their names. I then walk to where I could see both Backstabs and the bird, keeping an eye on both of them, just in case.
