[B]History:[/b]
[INDENT]Alyss proudly runs what many would consider a "semi illegal" business and gladly makes corrections when she hears people make that mistake.  Beyond that her past life is not one filled with joy and wonder rather she grew up little more than a indentured servant for a noble.  Working as a maid for a few years of life. She was than rescued by a roaming privateer feeling sorry for the young girl he took her in and taught her everything he knew.  This lasted for a few a while but he was eventually gunned down by a pirate.  Seeing the death of her "father" she quickly grabbed a pistol from a nearby corpse and shot the one who did so killing him.  Seeing as the one who did the deed was dead she did what her "father" told her to do when all is said and done loot the ones who did you the most harm. So keeping those words in mind she took his hat and his curved dagger.  These later on became her signature along with her "fathers" rifle though it was still a tad to large for her.  She quickly took control of her "fathers" work though continuing where he left off earning the crew's respect at her quick kill of the pirate who shot the captain. With her in charge they quickly became something more than just a privateer crew expanding and eventually letting them become a "business" of sorts. 
Time line of events
forced to work as a maid for corrupt noble 4-6
taken in as apprentice (daughter) of a well known privateer 6-10
Takes former privateer crew and expand it to a known business 10-12
Turns the "business" into Leviathan' Claw 12-14

[INDENT]Alyss likes living life to its fullest and does to living from one of her fancies to the next without a true care.  She might in outwards look have a nice carefree type personality but she can get serious when she needs to. With all that said and done she care little for her own life and at times others but there are a few she cares for. She would fight tooth and claw for those she cares for.
