You've lived your whole life in the village of Fireside, located in Fireside Canyon. You've known about the world beyond the borders of your village, but you knew very little, and the little you did learn was from the travelers that passed through, and the mighty heroes looking for fame and fortune. You lived a simple life in Fireside, doing simple work to gain your coin here and there. Perhaps you felt like you always wanted more, and never had a reason to follow your ambitions..

Until now..

A travelling merchant recently arrived in Fireside, with a rather unique set of goods. Of the wares he displayed, you couldn't help but notice a map with a location marked by an X. You asked if he knew anything about the map, and he told you he knew very little, other than it was rumored to lead to great treasures, things unimaginable to people like the ones that dwelled in Fireside. He noticed you had very little to offer, so he was willing to let you bargain for it. Unfortunately you weren't the only one who noticed the map, and the merchant's offer..
