Aya wasted no time in drawing back her foot and punting its skull. It flew off of its spine, ricochetting off of Mu's prison and flying away over their heads. The body was still waving.

Or at least it was until a dune buggy ran it down, scattering the bones before breaking of a halt. Then, almost sheepishly, it backed up until it was right in front of the the strange scene. There was a very pale man sitting in the drivers seat and dog seated in the passenger. Zach pointed at the girl, asking Jake. "Wait, is this her? I remember you two being together when...when...when...urrrghhhhhhhh." He groaned, holding his head again and laying it on the steering where, the horn letting out a long sustained honk. What was it that kept him from remembering? Was it part of the Paradise Meta's power? Or was it just him? "I'm going to need a minute anyway. There's an icepack under the seat." He reached down and pulled the icepack from under the seat, applying it to the top of his head.
