Think I'm done editing the post I made; Gordon retired in the 1950's and I doubt all the characters would know details of his service anyway, but it was, of course, subjugating native supernaturals and forcing them to join the Courts. 

Also, added the bit about Arthur "Bomber" Harris and Curtis LeMay because I wanted to make sure people knew where he was coming from.
