I like your character, she has a very intriguing biography. Classic brotherly jealousy :^)

Though, the only conflicting aspect [i]is[/i] the last bit of her biography, which ties into your question. I'm not entirely sure how she would necessarily fit in with the force trying to stop the rebellion.

Perhaps the province that her family, Rhegall, is amongst the separatist collection of southern provinces, and through the guise of trying to stop the rebellion, she could just be going to try and reclaim it?
