Nikki parked her T-bird as she listened to the emergency bands hearing every department in city government panic at once. Something was happening at city hall and it was baffling everyone who was observing it. So she leaned back in her seat and allowed her mind to connect to the signals she knew were part of the massive camera network that covered the area.

She had to giggle when she saw the scene from a gathered mosaic of outside cameras. Then she began panning all the mobile cameras scoping everything in their visual reference ranges as she also sorted through the data signals for anything of interest among the sea of electronic noise.
