It was always a rule on the old guild, I'm afraid. We had a lot of issues with such RPs cropping up and causing problems. While it would be away from public eyes in the PMs, I would still suggest against using them for Mature-content. It is against the rules, even if its not visible to everyone like a thread rp.

That's not to say you can't have mature themes or suggest that something happened. There's a fine line, and if you can skirt it, keep away from details of the acts, you'll be liable to be fine. The main issue it seems, would be RPs that often devolve into, to put it bluntly, cybering through the story.
