I felt years really didn't make sense with whole Alvith not having any time concept beyond day and night really. So instead I will do it by ages and age is just gonna be the time period of a chiefs rule. Just didn't really fit the whole year at the top. Once the Alvith eventually come up with a form of measurement of time and have years will include years. For now it's just 'Age of -chiefs name-' but in future will be 'Age of -chiefs name- Year ###'.

The type of eclipse most likely would depend on size of moon and distance from sun and planet. Could be unable to get a total eclipse depending on variety of different things.
