“After your ‘purity’?” Silk repeated the words with a smirk on her face, before laughing cheerfully, so much so that she started to coke on her soup. “Your ‘purity? Hah! Seriously? That’s hilarious!” she said still laughing to herself while hitting her chest in an effort to stop herself from choking. After giving herself a moment to catch her breath she took another mouthful of soup. “But you are kind of right about that. The poison thing that is. It’s not that we are particularly hardier than humans when it comes to things like that, rather we just have a different set of things that are poisonous to us,” she said without offering further explanation on the subject. She broke off a large chunk of the bread that he offered her and dipped it into the soup. “Ah don’t worry about that, I'm not going to steal anything. Fort a start the silverware isn't actually silver, I checked,” she said with a wink. “Besides, what kind of employer would I be if I robbed my loyal subordinates?” she added on with a smile. With a final piece of bread she finished off her portion of soup and pushed the bowl to the side. It was then that he mentioned sneaking her into the castle, causing her to pause for a moment in thought, a momentarily suspicious look on her face. “No thank you! I've been inside enough castles to not want to walk into one willingly ever again. Too many guards, too many suspicious eyes. Besides, you nobles have real trouble keeping your hands to yourselves,” she said, pointing her spoon at him with a grin. She wasn't sure how serious he was, so for now she would treat it as an attempt at humour. Robbing nobles was not something that was done lightly. People tended to lose hands and heads for that kind of thing. Generally it was not worth the risk.
