'What about after?' Penelope gazed at him thoughtfully. If the war was prevented and the staff was taken, then it seemed everyone would get what they wanted. Except for Crow, that is. The knight still held some sympathy for him and as stated before, she had nothing against him. She was a bit reluctant to agree, feeling it was against her own standards to just simply let him go. "If and when we return with the staff," She began meeting his gaze again, "I'll allow you to get away. I'm sure the king will merely brush off your absence once we return." She agreed to his suggestion. It would be simply enough, at least she figured it would be. Her comrades wouldn't have to know about it either and since she was usually with him, Penelope could provide plenty of opportunities for him to escape. "However," Penlope began taking a step forward so she was closer to him as she held his gaze. "Should you try to get away before then, the deal is off. Fair enough?" she question as she held out her hand to him.
