[@SheriffLlama] Chess couldn't help but crack a smile. No one ever called him by his real name, but he didn't mind, he found it pretty funny that the boy from Till would automatically say his actual name instead of the one he had just told him. He shook the big guys hand and looked down the hall to see if anyone was walking by, he wasn't really sure what to say so he just blurted out the first thing that came to his mind. "So you're from Till?" He said hoping that didn't sound too rude, and then his smile dropped a little realising it might have. He pulled up his sleeves looking at the door leading between their rooms, "So what did you do for fun around Till? I've never been, but I hear it's almost dead silent at night. Sounds like you ain't never getting away with nothing." He said a thought running through his head. Mason was the biggest guy among the Trainees, why shouldn't he make him his friend, if anything it'll get him closer to the end than having to do everything alone. Somewhere in the back of Chess's mind he knew that probably wasn't the real reason, somewhere deep was telling him he was just tired of being alone.
