Well, if Sakie doesn't see a big hulking angry doggy, then its highly probable the dog is an illusion. But as to which power would be hard to guess, since there are a myriad of powers that can make illusions, from light manipulation, hormone control, hypnotism, and fear materialization among others.

Still just guessing though.
