Terra nodded at the large man, "If Ander says it ok..." and she started to get up, still unused to the notion after her long slumber. Ander was running over to Crystal to see if she was alright and to remove her from the battle as well, "C'mon, we gotta get you out of here." but thats when he heard Leon say something in the background, and when he looked up, he was stunned. Dremmick slung his chain straight for Korde, but he saw this comming and slammed the heavy dart aside with his ax, and grabbed the chain as it passed him. Dremmick cursed as Korde pulled the chain toward himself and lined up a brutal punch that landed on his mask cracking it to where his right eye was visible, but Korde didn't let him go, or rather couldn't. Instead of using the chain on his arm, crimson chains shot from his sides as he tied himself to Korde, making sure he couldn't move. "Let go of me dammit!" Korde yelled at the blood mage. "You will die too!" It was a last second fix that nobody could have predicted, but all the attacks that hit Korde, also hit Dremmick. He tried to for armor for himself, but he was using the last of his strength just to hold on. And after the dust had settled, his crimson chains faded and both Korde and Dremmick fell over, silent. "DREMMICK!" Ander screamed as he rushed over to his old friend, Terra, scrambling to get to him as well. --- Dremmick could feel the hot pain from everyone's attack, his vision blurred in and out as if it was impossible to focus. Korde fell over first while he took a step before the room spun and somehow he fell on the ground. Everything echoed strangely, and whatever people were saying he wasn't sure. But he could see blurs of people watching over him. Who was who he wasn't sure. And the ringing in his ears was to persistent to even identifying them by their tone. This seemed to be something that.... he wouldn't be able to heal this time. He was always told that the curse could mean his death. And that overusing one's own magic could kill as well. But now, completely drained and heavily injured, he couldn't contain himself, and he felt that it would be easier to let himself drift to a restful sleep.
