"Well that makes two of us then." Penelope retorted, rolling her eyes at his words. She felt his hand tight around her's but made no remark. "Alright." she grumbled in return. She began to move on into the water stepping with care since the last thing she wanted to do was slip right now. A few steps in and it was already past knee high and gradually becoming deeper. The water felt freezing and made her feel stiff. The knight gave a small shudder before taking another cautious step forward. She seemed to be trying to take it slowly for his sake though, glancing over her shoulder to make sure he wasn't panicking yet. Penelope kept a firm grip on his hand in case the current cause either of them to fall. "Just keep ahold of me and we'll be over to the other side in no time." she said in a reassuring manner. Penelope seemed surprisingly patient and understanding at the moment. It was just how she was under such situations. Peel away her usual annoyance or cold attitude towards the thief and her true colors would begin to show much more clearly.
