If this is still open, I'd like to join. Character sheet and sample day are in first draft below.Question about cores: how exactly do they work? Do they require specific technology to activate, or are they more magic-y and can just be used "raw" as in "someone holds up a fire core and fries someone"? In my sheet I'm assuming they're magic-y, but I'll edit if I've got that wrong.
Cores do require "core slots" to work. These are basically augmented indents built into gear that an individual may hold, and the cores are placed inside them. I don't have a name for the metal yet, but it has a unique property that lets it "spark" the core, thus emitting the cores power. However with your kage, I guess you can break that rule since ("spoiler" alert?) spirit is a much better catalyst than core slots. Actually, I've got to say, there's an important secret about cores that really makes their existence much more meaningful. I mean this secret (I don't know if I should tell you and spoil it haha) really explains their nature and existence, but so far you seem to be so on point with it that it's kind of scary haha. Just one thing though: the channeling thing can't work with a regular human's spirit. Although he may have a strong spirit allowing him to understand and sense cores, I don't want him to have ten cores floating around him as he launches their powers without the help of a kage. Your kage, however, can fix that for you. That's a cool idea for a power actually. But know one thing: your strength should come from versatility (you have fire wind and earth etc etc), not intensity. I mean, if there is a kage who harnesses the element of fire, you shouldn't be able to match up against it with just your fire cores. That would be unfair. However, you could combine two cores (mix wind and fire) to overpower him. Another thing to note is that cores come in sooooo many forms. Not just elements. So it would be unfair for you to be able to utilize every single one, because some cores get real OP. For example, the super rare "Grav" Cores, that are mostly found underneath Argos (the bottom surface of the floating surface). These cores are like Kinetic Cores on crack, and if one guy could wield him, he would basically just have the force. Kinetic cores are a watered down version. But yeah, I mean you could maybe sense them, draw some power from them to help power another core, but straight up mastery of every core's power seems like a cheap way to get as many abilities as possible. But ANYWAY, maybe with a few tweaks here and there to make it known that your character isn't core god and this is accepted. I really like the character and the powers! This guy is going to fit right into the plot haha. If you have anymore questions ask me!
