"Shotgun! I want to sit up front." Charlotte called out loudly. She put her stuff in the trunk and sat in the passenger seat. "Wooohoo! I'm so pumped right now. I can't wait to get going." She turned on the radio station, loudly. 

She put on her seat belt and pushed back the seat a little so it was more comfortable, but not too much where it would take up too much space for the person sitting behind her.
