After the long hours of schooling had came to another end,Roland and Steven exited the building and began to walk home together again. As usual, Steven was being very talkative and somewhat annoying, only this time he was bringing up of the events had occured the day that Avery was at their place. [i]"So,"[/i] began Steven, [i]"where was you-know-who today? Seems that you've been hanging around her more than anyone so you might as well know."[/i] When Steven had finished, it seemed as his question had done no good to accquire Roland's attention, as he was thinking on Avery's whereabouts and why she wasn't in class today.

Roland did, however, remember Avery mentioning that her home was a few places down from Steven's house, and because of it, the statement she gave yesterday gave him an idea.

Once they both had arrived at their home, Roland decided that he had other plans. [i]"You go ahead inside Steven,"[/i] said Roland as he walked past their house and continued down the street so that he may find the place that Avery was staying at. "[i]Wait, where are you going?"[/i] yelled Steven, seeing that he had no idea in what was Roland's intentions for his continuation of walking. Roland looked behind him and replied.

[i]"I have something I need to check on, so don't wait up for me[/i]." After he had replied, he proceeded to walk down the street in hopes that he would be able to spot where Avery's house was located.
