I think the real issue is how things stagnate after a certain distance from the starting line: Everyone tends to form up into groups, and then become very oblivious to anyone who isn't in their specific groups. It's like no one bothers to skim through any one else's posts, and it leads to situations like this where people obviously have further plans and even try to open up interaction with other groups, but since one or two of the groups has decided to race to the beds in a way that borders on breaking character, the GM needs to pull a timeskip so no one is left trapped in those very same beds. Like it's already been said, I think it's a pacing problem mixed in with a lack of interaction.
Das ja. Though tbh, it adds to my pile of 'shit to read by next week.' I dunno how Lugia does it and I don't want to know.
I know I have a penchant for pissing people off to the point where I manage to do it even when I'm not trying to, so I'd like to make it clear that I don't think this is really a malicious or even intentional phenomenon. I think this should still be brought up, though, as it's far from conducive to a jolly ol' roleplaying experience.
u wot m8 you tryin' to think you're the guy who pisses people off eh? gtfo scrub
this is a world where all the buildings look like the faces of their owners, so how well logic would apply to the layout is anyone's guess.
Lugia has a penchant for these things. I especially find that annoying. There's not a lot of darkness which also bugs me, considering we're not 13 year-olds anymore. At least I ain't, and I'm starting to feel as if there's too much comedy in a world supposed to be realistic. In fact, you have Lugia's posts and my posts. There's a lot of contrast when it comes to mood between them.
