The longest running RP I was in was a Zelda one that ran for about 4 years, and that was mostly because we al became really close friends. There were times where we would just OOC for days before someone finally decided to push the plot along. It's all about the people really.

I watched the first season of Magi on Netflix. Haven't watched the second yet. I may end up reading the manga but I tend to stay away from long running series now. The last long one I read was Naruto and that was mostly because I got into the process of reading each chapter every week.
