SunnyD was battering her fairly new punching bag that was firmly secured to the ceiling with a new chain. Ever since she stumbled back home with money – life was fairly good. She was bringing in enough money to pay for rent, afford a few sweets to give to the kids, and new equipment. SunnyD, however, was building up some notoriety in the underground boxing tournaments. She heavily sighed in frustration. Why couldn’t life be simple? She lunged for the bag once more before her vision blurred into black… ”You possess a power like no other…means to stop them…” Kyra’s sweet words faded away as the word ‘lightning’ was repeated before she regained her vision. She wiped the sweat off her forehead before staring at the floor, dumbfounded. Okay. She knew she was able to…shock people to the point where they fainted. Fuck. Oh fuck. Fight the fucking Vygoms? Her body started to tremble, but not in fear. SunnyD was excited. Little sparks of blue bounced off of her body before completely stopping as she contained the overwhelming feelings. For years It was about time that someone tried to stop the Vygoms. ------- In a few minutes, Sunny was already heading out to Club9. It was around six blocks away, not too far, so she decided to walk instead. She had showered and pulled on some decent-looking clothes; a tank-top, jeans, and a light jacket. Ah shit. It was cold. She sneezed once and rubbed her nose, almost tempted to head back home. After all, that ‘vision’ was weird. Maybe her ‘powers’ were messing with her mind. However she kept on holding to that foolish hope of usurping the Vygoms… Maybe, just maybe. By the time Sunny reached Cloud 9, she was a shivering mess. God, she would have to buy a new jacket as hers was thread-bare. She went downstairs, coming face to face with another young woman. Instinctively, Sunny stepped a few paces back and warily eyed the girl. "Hey, why're you here?" She asked, almost curious. Cloud 9 had closed years ago... Could the girl have had the same dream as well?
