David is muggle-born, so boo-howdy was his Hogwarts letter a surprise. He went for all of one term before deciding that the wizarding world didn’t like him, and that he was kind of fine with that thank you very much.

The problems came the following year when the book of names was stolen, and, since then, people have basically been trying to kill him and he’s been on the run – for a few years, he managed to get by with his family under a false identity, but, since he was seventeen, he’s basically been running (his shoes are pretty much burned-out by now). Oh, and apparently he’s bearing a prophecy on which rests the fate of magical Britain. [i]Great[/i].
