Though large portions of the cities defences are voided from scans due to jamming equipment, they are allowed to scan the more common defenses which seem to be large energy cannons that appeared to constantly be in a state of at least minimal power, allowing for constant ground coverage as well as EMP cannons that seemed to have been powered down to avoid showing hostile intent but looked to be able to fire as far as deep orbit. Although there is a funny occurence where a newly built frigate is launched with an incredibly efficient design with what appears to be a carrier mentality as corvettes could be detected within hidden bay doors while it's main cannon seemed to have incredible power potential with it's shields actually comparable to the planetary ones with a multi layer to them, preventing shield piercing shots from being effective though it did seem to support retractable turrets for countering fighters.
