Eli turned around to see someone he didn't remember talking to him. Eli leaned down to girl and asked if he knew that guy. When she shook her head no, Eli when to work on trying to figure who or why this person was talking to him. At about six feet, dark hair and a lean build, Eli's had a pretty good idea that he could take him. After a silent moment or two, Eli finally spoke in a way that only he could too. "She's mine, bought and paid for. Now if you excuse us, we got shhhh-stuff to figure out. Like the where and the why. Feel to join if you can behave yourself. " Eli had to remember he had to be nice with the child in toe. It was important to him at least. "It's important to be nice to people, gotta make friends and the like. You're gonna friends in a place like this... Friends are gonna help us." Eli said looking at his newfound ward. She looked back with furrowed brow and stern look. "Don't sass me girl, that was for me not you." Eli walked away calling out for one of the few people he knew he could trust. "Legion, where are you fucknut!" Row after row, block after block Eli kept looking for one of the few people he liked and knew this child would be safe with. He also had the helpful advantage of being much kinder than Eli, as well as the being able to understand her better than Eli. Eli liked the kid but a decent parent or guardian he was far from.
