Nick pulled his hood back down over his head and flicked his chain over his shoulder. "Well, that was all very dramatic." He shot a glance down to the girl who'd crashed down the stairs a moment ago. "Honey, you might wanna stand up. I have a feeling shit's about to get even weirder." He stepped forward, out of the group of... 'Elementals', or whatever the masked man had called them. Was that what they were? Elementals? Well, maybe that applied to Sir Torchy McDeadsalot or whoever the fire-throwing man was, but Nick didn't exactly feel a part of that. Metal wasn't an element, Metal was the thing that beat the elements into submission. He let his eyes wander over the group. Christ, but they were young. Most of them looked like college students - the one with the messy hair and the greasy face looked like a teenager. Nick had a sinking feeling that he might be the oldest among them, which probably wasn't good seeing as how he was a minimum wage hoodlum who spent his nights breaking security cameras and graffiti-ing buildings. Hell, at least he read a lot, too. "Alright, Phil," he said striding towards the man. "Let's talk about all this. Seems to me like you called us here, I don't know how and I don't know why. I don't know what that shit was with Masky, I don't know what 'Elementals' are, I don't have any idea what the hell is going on." With his left hand, the one that wasn't holding the chain over his shoulder, Nick poked the man in the chest. "We deserve an explanation. Start from the beginning. Condensed, easy-to-follow, informative. Who are you? What do you want with us? What does this have to do with Vygorns? Do they all have powers too? What'd they get, plastic? Paper? Unvarnished wood?" He took a step back and spread his arms out. "And leave out all that hoodoo-voodoo, Kyra, 'Mother Nature' bullshit, okay?"
