Aldo had slid the meat into the oven and padded over to a chair to take a seat. The smell of it was delectable, but unusually tonight it didn't make him as hungry as it usually did. He just felt too...wary, on edge, to eat much. Hopefully there'd be leftovers in the morning, because tomorrow would have to be more relaxing, right? Valerie walking out also worried him. For a moment he wondered whether to follow her, but in the end he decided that the Lupa was smart enough to take care of herself, blind or not. "I'm going to jump in the hot tub after this," he said in a soft huff to no one in particular. He could hear faintly what was going on outside, and he didn't like it, but he also didn't feel like running outside and putting himself in possible danger...yet. Aldo tried to keep his body language calm, so as not to spread his uneasy feelings to Vashti. Still, he couldn't stop himself from cracking his neck nervously.
