[b]Background:[/b] Aurora was raised in a small fly in access only village where her father was a State Trooper in Alaska. Her mother had left them shortly after they moved to the village so Aurora spent a lot of time that wasn’t in school learning subsistence living techniques along with the other children. In such a remote area the yearly salmon harvest and meat from game go along way to providing food as it is very expensive to bring supplies in by plane. 

Aurora learned fishing, trapping and hunting from her father and the community. Every year as soon as she was old enough she would go on moose and caribou hunts with her father. When she was strong enough he taught her father taught her how to bow hunt. The yearly hunt was a point that Aurora looked forward to every year. Eventually her father took a transfer to Anchorage where she went to high school and her helicopter license. For a few years she worked for tour companies but eventually she followed her father’s foot steps and went to work for the State Troopers. 
Aurora has been working mostly out of Anchorage for the Troopers doing some flightseeing tours in her spare time. She ended up in New York visiting a friend before her yearly hunting trip with her father. She was set up to meet him in Argentina but the outbreak happened before she could leave. Aurora managed to fight her way back to her friend’s place in Queens where her 55 pound compact bow and arrows were waiting. Since then she has fortified the top floor where she hides out, after the first few survivors turned on her Aurora stopped taking people in.

[b]Personality:[/b] If Aurora doesn't pick on you a bit she doesn't like you. Normally she has a very playful personality though knows when to change gears thanks to her profession. Since the outbreak Aurora has been alone for the most part and with frequent enemy encounters has made very cautious and much more guarded. Gone is the woman that cracked jokes over beers with friends, now only a paranoid survivor remains. This hasn't lead way to a complete break down of her code though, the strong moral compass that once guided her is still there it is just buried under the need to survive. 

[center][b]Unique Abilities[/b][/center]
[b]Interrogation:[/b] Thanks to her training she knows techniques to help dig information out of people. Without the press of the law she has had to adapt some of her procedures with less than savory actions. 

[b]Survival:[/b] Growing up in the Alaska Bush taught Aurora how to survive in the worst of conditions with winters dipping down to -50 adaptability and situational awareness were key. She also learned small animal trapping, tracking and hunting.

[b]Gun Proficiency:[/b] Aurora had always been a decent shot but the sharpening of training brought it out. She is best with handguns in a cqc situation, she has never been a fan of automatic weapons and their jarring recoil. 

[b]Hand to Hand:[/b] After learning some Aikido in training Aurora took it up in her spare time. She isn't an expert but can hold her ground. She tries not to let the enemy get that close.

[b]Bow Proficiency:[/b] Since she has been bow hunting as a child Aurora is very skilled with her compact bow. She has taken down many moose and even a bear once (barely) but as they say humans are the most dangerous game.

[b]Skinning Knife:[/b] Razor sharp, not often used for fighting but is there as an option.

[b]Conditions:[/b] Slight Anemia. While iron isn't extremely hard to find scavenging for pills is dangerous. She gathered a large amount just after the outbreak and has been rationing them. If she doesn't have Iron Aurora becomes weaker and tires more easily.
