As a general note, Alliance Forces try to avoid prolonged engagements with Imperial Forces because the Imperials have a bigger reserve of manpower. So sticking around to the point where the Imperial Army is sending troops is a terrible idea anyway. As former guerrillas, the Liberators generally can rely on the idea that they need to break the engagement if it's not going well, since they can't bring in reinforcement and cannot pursue attrition as a viable method of winning a fight when they either don't have the initiative or they start to lose it. The Rebels are being ambushed, so standing and fighting should not be on their mind here. Getting the fuck out intact and preserving their fighting capability, however, should be. My next post will reflect this in the sense that Besk and characters with Besk will be attempting to disrupt the enemy to buy the Lieutenant and the others time to break contact.
