In terms of armor, I highly recommend a vest arrangement rather than full plate; Stormtrooper armor is patterned after Mando armor, but it's not a full armor and isn't necessarily going to protect from blasters anyway -- it's more intended to give them an oxygen supply in boarding actions. The Mando stuff is a whole different deal. Metal armors tend to wear characters down without being particularly efficacious against blaster bolts. The Liberators work with plate carriers and so forth, but the blaster bolts get through it, so weight vs protection is a negative cost/benefit in the end. What the armor is good for is protecting against fragments and the such, but it's always a question of bulk and discomfort as well. So then, onto powers. Let's be completely honest, cutting down bounty hunters with bladed weapons five at a time really isn't the style of this RP -- and because this is an RP about the infantry, the realities of that are bound to be applied here, even to force-sensitives. This isn't really an RP for uber badass characters to just slice through faceless enemies, and if the enemies seem a little soft now, the reality is that mdk and I are already working to rectify that situation to create a more challenging tactical environment. But the bottom line is that if she's going to attempt to engage five at a time like that, bounty hunters are probably better prepared for hand to hand combat than stormtroopers and it's actually a more dangerous option to close with them like that, rather than establishing fire superiority and using it on them -- bounty hunters see lots of vibroblade attacks and species, like Gamorreans and Weequay, that specialize in melee. They're prepared for that. So she's probably going to take some damage in the process of a close assault like that, flank and concealment or no.
