Enned System Admiral Yamada looked out from the bridge of the Federation’s Carrier, the F.S.S Mars, and begin listening to the Straylight institute’s message. While it was not the circumstances the Federation Military and President were hoping, he thought, the Admiral would just have to work with them. He looked around the bridge, and surprisingly for being a Capital Ship the Carrier did not have that many personnel. Only a few manned various consoles, with a symbiont in a strange chair that seemed to be linked to the ship’s computer. He pressed a button on his chair, opening a channel to the Straylight’s vessel Letona's Gaze. “The Federation acknowledges and accepts all tenants and objectives as proposed by your Institute, and anyone caught stealing Ennedi artifacts from our delegation will be dealt with accordingly. In the meantime the Federation shall begin construction of a small station orbiting the homeworld to act as a refuel and resupply center for our ships and any other ERC associated vessels, as well as a point for ferrying supplies to the expedition zones. The Station will also hold a Federation Diplomatic Authority for anyone wishing to establish more formal relations.” said the Admiral into the chair’s mic. He pressed a different button this time, broadcasting only to the Federation’s internal comms. “Any Federation associated personnel caught stealing Ennedi artifacts will receive the same punishment as if one were to trade Federation technology without authorization. I need not remind you all of the punishment that comes with that.” finished Admiral Yamada. A few of the Federation freighters broke off the convoy, heading to the Ennedi’s home planet. Each released a vast swarm of nanobots, appearing to be strange silvery sheets within the void. It did not take them long to use the materials aboard the freighters to begin constructing the station. It was a interesting and strange process, watching the small bots build the station in the middle of space. Sol System As the A.Is managed to pick up the rapidly increasing distress signals from bases within Sol, Sol’s defensive network began to activate. The first weapons to come online with the particle cannons, blue beams striking out across the void and impacting the LOCUST ships. Lasers beams also activated, adding more onto the already incoming barrage. R.K.Vs flew from space stations within Sol, impacting the approaching LOCUST fleet. Railguns also fired, shells flying at extremely fast speeds. While they were limited in number, the Defenses also fired a few nukes. The fleets of Sol also awoke, the carriers charging in first, unleashing massive swarms of drone craft that began to enclose the LOCUST, firing their weapons upon them. Other Capital ships, frigates, and cruisers joined the fight, adding to the coming storm.
