The LOCUST fleet begins to blast all radio frequencies with old wartime propaganda as the Human fleet engages the LOCUST. The LOCUST fleet responds to the fleet by unleashing their nuclear arsenal. Hundreds of thousands of missiles flare up in the night sky, belching nuclear exhaust behind them as they fly toward their targets. While this happens, the LOCUST fleet opens fire with lasers of its own, shooting down missiles and small drone craft. Many missiles get shot down, but it only takes a few missiles to obliterate their targets. Missiles are able to destroy several somewhat clustered combat drones at a time. A few missiles made it past humanity's fleet defenses, and severely damaged if not outright destroyed some of the ships. While Humanity's arsenal does serious damage to the LOCUST ships, the LOCUSTs don't run many large ships as they are all small missile carriers, save one. One shot from humanities arsenal is usually enough to destroy a LOCUST ship, but there are hundreds of these ships. The Epsilon-Capital ship became severely damaged in the fight, so the Manager AI had to begin backup routines where he began to copy himself onto several different missile cruisers. While this is all going on the LOCUST fleet continues to blare old wartime propaganda from their extinct creators.
