[@Rilla] I, uh... can't even imagine not reading the bio. Sure, in some cases it might not influence the future, but not knowing the backstory of the individuals inhabiting a world that I'm supposed to GM- Can't even imagine it. It feels so fundamentally wrong. ... Well, I myself am a GM that absolutely loves to involve character's pasts into the actual game, so maybe that's what's influencing me, but... Yikes. Well. If that works for you... then I suppose it works for you. I wouldn't take it as advice, though. XD
Bios are the most important part too. By far. A bio tells you whether or not the applicant understands what the RP is about, and it shows whether or not they can string a sentence together without getting their dick in a knot. A good app is a short one. Honestly, when it comes to non-stat RP's at least, I think the quality of the RP is conversely related to the number of questions in the App. Dem shitty rp's will have a dozen or so sections for their application, but the best only use two or three.
