[b]The Deminutian Empire of the Fathomless Night - Fourth planet[/b]

The probe detected life on the planet, though whether it was plant or animal it was unsure. It filled its data banks with last minute information and dropped its black box. The box reverted course and made its way towards the jump station, taking with it the engine of the probe. The AI used the small jets to change its course aiming towards a large body of water. As it entered the atmosphere of the planet it increased shielding to prevent burn up on re-entry.

 The probe housed a friendly message that could be converted to an inhabitant's language, several data packages on the Robotics that had constructed it and a general history. Coordinates to their home system was left out. With final preparation done with re-entry, it again adjusted course, aiming for the center of the lake. As it fell from the sky, it did another scan, and again it picked up the lifeforms confirming that there were animals and flora. Wishing it had saved the black box, it began to fill its own AI memory banks, just incase it could return. Repulser jets flared up and the shield dropped.

 Its descent was greatly reduced, and before it had its splash landing large bags expanded giving it a pillowed splashed down. Its entire form concealed, waiting to be towed ashore. multiple metal hoops were stationed around its protective pillows. While waiting it thought…

The small space craft, which had been released earlier, slipped into the atmosphere behind the probe imitating debris burning off it veered off course earlier and headed for the lush forests below. Their mission was to run covert ops, if talks were to fall through. They had weapons and supplies, enough to hold out for awhile. Their ship scanned the surface below taking in all the Plant life and any wildlife. Their cloaking device humming in the back of the ship, a constant reminder that they had that as a protection measure. Setting the ship down a little ways past the forest, they made a soft landing and waited for the distress signal.
