Deimos- The Shadow of Fury A long time ago, long before your birth, before even the birth of your parents or grandparents, there was one Grimm, whose name alone infused fear to the populace of Remnant. The Shadow of Fury it had been called, others gave it a real name. Deimos, the god of terror. His first appearance was devastating, annihilating a warrior academy near a city called Istbor. Now, you might ask, how does this Deimos look like? Well, that is where one of his names comes from. In his basic form, he is just a shadow, a cloud of blackness wafting about, but anger him and giant red glowing orbs floating inside the cloud of darkness. Red lightning will occasionally flash through his cloudy body, too. You might question yourselves, how such a creepy creature can actually attack when he is nothing but some kind of cloud. *laughs* I never said, that he was a cloud. No, he is as real as you and me. Touchable and killable. But, that means, he can kill, too. And that he does with exceptional skill and brutality. Strong, black claws will manifest out of his body with which he will grab any being close to him and either rip it apart, or eat it. His red orbs are, however, his main threat. People trying to escape his wrath will simply be paralyzed by the red mist emitted by him. Unable to move, unable to flee, they are prey to his insatiable hunger. Many hunters have already died trying to kill this thing, but were only capable of draining its energy. One hundred years ago, though, Deimos broke his own records in brutality. He once again attacked Istbor. This time, however, he didn't attack any warrior academy, nor a hunter school. This time, he targeted the civilians of Istbor. All attempts of defeating him as he approached failed and he simply tore down the city wall injecting his red mist into the streets of Istbor. In an new and unseen before way, the mist not only paralyzed the humans, but it also latched onto him. Some time later, Deimos started inhaling. All the mist in the city made its way back to him... including all latched-onto-humans. This is how the city of Istbor was devoured in one swift strike. Revenge was quick to follow, though. In an unprecedented act of bravery, a young team of hunters managed to come up with a plan to disable Deimos' abilities. Once that was done, they managed to pierce out his eyes, slice off his claws and mutilate his mouth. Naturally they were elated to have defeated the monster, but Deimos wasn't exactly dead. Without the ability to defend or attack, Deimos just vanished into nothingness. Ever since that time, he has never been spotted again, but we are fairly certain, he is still out there, recovering, waiting for the perfect moment to feed again. So, we must be ready. Ready to face him again, ready to banish him for another hundred years, if he was to appear. We can't let another city die, can we?
