Are you guys still open? If so... Crystal Lake Killer v1 (If going for Thanatos)
Name: Jace Vonderin Appearance: Stands at 6'2 and has fair skin Gender: Male Personality: Jace can be described as a human automaton, always following Thanatos' orders whatever they may be. Until then, Jace strives to clear dungeons the same as the other members of the Familia. However, if there is another Adventurer(s) not belonging to the Familia about to clear a dungeon, Jace will, if the circumstances are right, coldly murder the Adventurer(s). Other than that, he expresses no other emotions. He also has an insanely high pain tolerance, especially on non-vital body parts. He could be impaled with a sword and he could still fight normally as if there's no sword at all. (Of course he needs to heal that later.) Jace does not speak at all. No grunts, no sighs, just complete silence. Bio: No one knows his past, not even Jace. The truth is, however, Jace was abandoned inside the Tower as a kid and grew up living and fighting alongside and against the monsters found within. This tempered Jace into the warrior he is currently known. When Thanatos found him, he wore a chain around his neck with a nametag attached to it that said "J-*# VONDERI!N". This warrior of death was a perfect Adventurer for the God of Death and so, with an offering of better (killing) equipment, made Jace part of Thanatos' Familia. Familia: Thanatos Equipment: =An unusually long machete (original weapon) =A steel shortsword =A one-handed steel axe =Fists capable of hard hits and bone-crushing grips (Besides the regular clothing) -Metal cuirass (worn under the jacket) -Metal greaves -Metal armguards STATS: STR: 10 DEF: 10 WPN: 10 AGI: 10 MAG: 10 Extra - I know he's kind of OP but I made him that way so he could be a challenge against the protagonists whom he will undoubtedly try to kill if they reach further than his Familia.
Crystal Lake Killer v2 (If going for Athena)
Name: Jace Vonderin Appearance: Stands at 6'2 and has fair skin Gender: Male Personality: Jace can be described as a human automaton, always following Athena's orders whatever they may be. Until then, Jace strives to work with his fellow Adventurers to clear dungeons for the Familia. He will be idle during free time and can be asked for favors by his fellow Adventurers or friends of the Familia. Other than that, he expresses no other emotions. He is also green when it comes to civilized culture. Jace does not speak at all. No grunts, no sighs, just complete silence. Bio: No one knows his past, not even Jace. The truth is, however, Jace was abandoned inside the forests as a kid and grew up living and fighting alongside/against the sometimes friendly, sometimes hostile forest creatures. This tempered Jace into the fighter he is currently known. When Athena found him, he wore a chain around his neck with a nametag attached to it that said "J-*# VONDERI!N". Feeling compassion, the Goddess of Wisdom, with an offering of a better life, made Jace part of Thanatos' Familia. Familia: Thanatos Equipment: =An unusually long machete (original weapon) =A steel shortsword =A one-handed steel axe (Besides the regular clothing) -Metal cuirass (worn under the jacket) -Metal greaves -Metal armguards STATS: STR: 10 DEF: 10 WPN: 10 AGI: 10 MAG: 10 Extra - The regular, Adventurer kind. Just not the usual.
Lemme know if I did anything wrong. Pretty sure I did.
We're open... But I'm not sure how I feel about having a pre-existing character from a different plane of existence entirely being thrown in the mix... I suppose I can act as if it's not though, and react accordingly... First, dungeons don't get cleared, monsters spawn constantly in the dungeon (it's weird, source shows them almost melting out of the walls), so it's entirely up to each adventurer to go as deep as they so choose, and fight for their gold/experience. Second, the dungeon isn't the tower, the tower is sort of a giant merchant's paradise, Hephaestus (the god of smiths, which is currently an NPC), owns a couple of the floors where some equipment is sold, the dungeon itself is underground. With each new floor being deeper than the previous one. Third, Jason in general, seems fairly overpowered, I can understand that you want him to be a challenge for the other adventurers if they get in his way, but you might have a partner or two, so weakening him at least partially would be best. The best way, I'd say, is to remove the inhuman grip (bone-breaking grip is a bit too much), and simply raise your stats slightly if you really want to be one of the bad guys
