The armour of Gunpla as a whole began taking stress from the repeated beam attacks before he decided to go with a 'do or die' attitude. He powered his beam saber to high output again. The Byzantine Gundam flew to the Byzantine Gundam, lunging it's beam saber at the cockpit of the Vermillion. With the stress made to the right arm, it broke from the pressure and ending the flow of power to the main weapon. At the same time the gold-coloured Gundam sccumbed to it's damage in the cockpit.
