Hey, I thought I was the one supposed to shake stuff up around here. The way we'll be handling it is that aura, once awakened, is always defensively activated at a low level. Needless to say in this case, however, it wasn't enough to stop a sword. That doesn't mean that actions don't have consequences. Not a truck, though. Anybody ever hear of the mythical Antaeus?
Two things stood out to me in the negative sense. First off and the chief reason Morpheus did not win was the way it is presented. There is no sense of what would be known for sure IC and what would be conjecture. I just did not get the impression this is what would be what you hear around a campfire, or an interview with a survivor, or even a mission briefing. Second, and this one is entirely a personal gripe, I dislike humanoid Grimm. That one is in no way a thing you could have known beforehand but due to a number of very poorly written RWBY fics and characters, humanoid grimm have negative connotations in my head.
Now I kinda wanna know what you thought about Black Mercy. I take it that it's because I made the Grimm in question, the one that's ideally legendary and terrifying, pretty much a pushover and only scary for its implications. I knew that I was probably going the wrong route, but after reading a bunch of Lovecraft I couldn't resist the cosmic horror story route.
