Isaac reaches over and takes Hayley's hand, just in case he said something she didn't like, more for her safety than his. Sean, on the other hand, develops a dark glint in his eyes as he says, "You see, I've been watching Isaac for awhile, now, just to look after him, in case our old employers caught up with him. When you entered his life, I decided to do my own version of a background check on you, just to make sure you were alright. When I found your mysterious source of income, I also found hints as to where it came from, enough hints to lead me to a certain boss of the underworld. He wasn't too high on the totem pole, so I'm not surprised you haven't heard what happened." Isaac, already having a feeling of where this was going, asks, "What'd you do?" Sean shrugs, takes a sip of his beer, and says, "I wiped out his family, to use a mob term, and made him tell me everything before I brutally slaughtered him." He then waits a moment to see Isaac's expression, then bursts out laughing, saying, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding! I'm not [i]that[/i] cold-blooded! I just bugged Hayley's apartment and learned everything I needed to know from that."
