No worries.  In general, antagonists can craft almost any situation they want, including heavily stacking the odds on their side, but autohitting without the players' consent is generally not preferable.  In this case, Antaeus calling for backup, as might be reasonable against someone who attacked him so ruthlessly, would be a reasonable thing to do to shift the odds in your favor.
