Probably not, as I'm an exchange student in Korea right now and yes, smoking or drinking in the dorm is not allowed. Neither is bringing in the opposite sex anywhere close to the dorm building.

Of course, the opposite sex rule doesn't apply here, just that it's the case in my dorm.
