On your list there you have Eragon - it's one of my favourite books so it caught my attention right away - and I was wondering if it was with canon characters and the plot from the books or if we can use original characters?

I've always wanted to do am Eragon story set either before Galbatorix or long afterward, when Eragon and Saphira are training new dragon riders on the other side of the desert. I thought it would be interesting to do something along those lines with two that don't really get along. Like umm. . . Like a teacher and a rebellious student, or perhaps a rider and one who is not etc.
