They would not in a real sense be 'high society' though they can earn their place above without being considered an aristocrat and never a royal. They can have their money, their friends but never a house if turned the traditional way. Vampires turned the other way may marry into aristocratic - and sometimes pure blooded - families because of the way they were created.
