Tsai was not afraid when the reaper appeared before her gaggle of captors. And she certainly didn't flinch away from the mutated sound of his voice. If it looked like she did, then it was a trick of the candlelight, and the dancing shadows it cast. Screams erupted around her as the children ran away, jostling her about in their frenzy. At least she was rid of them. Too proud to follow the children out the door, Tsai decided to remain at the inn – at least for a bit. She cast one last look at the reaper, and the attention he'd garnered from a few of the other patrons. Lifting her chin up at them in a dismissive manner, she turned to find an empty table. Before long, she'd ordered a cup of water and a bowl of fruit to nibble on.
