Bachus He listened to Cassandra. "You are right. And the rest of the scout corps are free to believe that." He looked to Levi to support him. "We are the Levi squad. Our duty to humanity comes before all else!" He shouted a little, trembling with sweat. Levi Bachus clearly had looked to him to back him up. He simply shook his head. "Bachus..." He hesitated, before coldly speaking. "What kind of a man, allows himself to be caged by orders and formalities?" He sternly looked him in the eye. "The scout corps was founded on that basis. We live for our own freedom and are the spearhead for humanity's. He looked at the two girls. "Yes. Action. That is what is needed. But can you scared little kittens make decisions in the field without hesitation?" He asked them, before waiting for it to look like one of them was going to respond. "No. You cannot. You were all chosen for your natural ability. Some of your records are truly excellent. But that means nothing when you have to decide who lives.... and who dies." He glared at all off them. He pushed his chair out and stood up. "Get out of here, and go to...." He was cut off by a rumble in the ground above their heads, and a clatter from the door being forced open. "Lance Corporal Levi!" He looked out of breath, and was covered in blood. Levi looked him up and down, his eyes losing hope. "The colossal titan made another appearance... There is another hole. The titan's are inside Trost again!" The youngster panted. Levi tied the string together holding his green cloak on. "Jager is still recovering. And there would be nothing for him to block the hole with. He can't help us now. Humanity had it's first victory 3 days ago. Why can we not win again?!" He posed the question to the soldier sitting around the table. "Blade versus Skin. Human versus titan. There are no tricks here. We must make a stand here, without Jager..." he paused. "And we must win!!" He rushed up the stairs, to get his gas and blades, leaving the room in shock.
