[@Theo], her Gravity Reduction ability would actually let her throw things too the way you laid it out, unless she's involuntarily reducing it's momentum the moment she lets go. If it's weightless when she's holding it, and she swings it before she lets go, it would fly the same whether it's made of Styrofoam or iron.
