Nah.  I'm creating the whole desert situation here.  There is no wind right now, or otherwise not enough to move sand.  If there was enough wind to move the sand, it would be doing it on a massive level, creating a low-grade sandstorm as wide as the low-pressure zone that the wind's flowing to.  Since that would be a massive impediment, we're not doing that.  But never fret, for there's going to be another force moving sand in just a little while.
