This RP takes place in an alternate universe where people are born knowing only the language of the country in which they were born, and if they wish to learn any additional languages, they can do so instantly, provided they find the trigger. The catch is that this trigger varies for every person and can be anything from a pebble by the seaside to the entirety of the Eiffel tower. Some people have more luck with their triggers than others.

What I'd like is a ragtag group of modern-day adventurers who are each looking for a trigger for their own reasons (maybe a historian whose mother's life's work was the deciphering of an old document, and they want to find the trigger for that ancient language to complete their mother's legacy, or something, or a Native American who wants to learn the dying language of their tribe, or a lazy college student who doesn't want to study Latin verbs for their Classical Languages final), and travel together to the countries where their languages are/were spoken. 

This is an idea I've been toying with for a while, so I want to see if it generates interest. If so, I'll make an OOC and get to work on worldbuilding and whatnot.
