Might be interested in this RP with my dwarves.
Albeit that depends on how my application goes to another RP.
Of course I don't wish to play the same race in both games.
As for claims, I'd want the island which is within the continent yet surrounded by water from all directions. Of course only if I can assume it has a good number of mountains and at least somewhat rich in metals.
Basically I'd be controling a small faction who'd be largely neutral until something big happens.
