Alexis Tomer - The Fire Fighter

It was, in the same moment that Alexis had shot forth a stream of red-hot flames that Casana had disappeared. Right in that same moment, Alexis heard breathing from behind her. It was the kind of breathing that was subtle, but with Alexis' enhanced senses, she could hear like a phone ringtone right against her ear. Before Alexis even had the chance to turn around, she heard an odd noise originating from Casana's left arm. The sounds of steel of some kind was heard and before she had much time to act, Casana'a aforementioned arm swung at Alexis' now front. Alexis raised her arms up in a defensive diagonal cross formation, layered with a light fire aura. As the attack came in and Alexis defended herself, she miscalculated the force and it pushed her back a few feet. It was fortunate for Alexis that she had reacted in such a quick manner or she would have found herself in a bad way. In the moment of silence, the emerald gaze from Alexis was at Casana. She looked at her opponent with such a grin that it almost displayed a deep respect for her. Here, in front of her, was a fighter that Alexis had never fought before. Not in the physical way, at least. For all of those months, her and Casana have been going at it in the ranks, in the eyes of the Monks that trained them, and in the eyes of someone much higher. Alexis felt such respect for this woman in front of her and she felt such excitement for this fight, that of which had just only begun. Alexis kept a grin on her face. She released a battlecry bleeding with excitement. Her body reacted to such a cry and her Fighter's Spirit came out once more, burning with hotter flames than ever before. Alexis, this time, took to the air, a trail of reddish-orange fire following her. She went so fast that it was almost a blur, it was as if the flames themselves were granting Alexis permission to go faster. The sky was lit up by her power, by her spirit. The Flames from which came from within danced along the blue sky and white clouds. She continued flying around, shooting short bursts of fire at and around Casana, each burst becoming more aggressive, more intense than the previous. Alexis didn't want to make the same mistake she did last time about just sending a linear, stream of fire at Casana. She wanted to make sure that at least one of the bursts of fire that set the ground below her ablaze made contact with Casana in at least some aspect.
