Gray Crowell
Even though there were others behind him entering and speaking, he took note of the other people and their voices as his ears perked up to each of the differentiating harmonic tunes of the voices entering the club. As he awaits the response from the girl, he heard the boy request for everyone to settle. The problem was that he found waves which caused the water to ripple spontaneously as he scanned around. Gray felt that some people were rather obviously disgruntled with such a mundane task of investigating a bathroom, but every organization had to start small, right? Before reacting to anything from his spot, he finished getting a good idea of what each person was like just on appearance, however he couldn't bring himself to ring the hammer yet. Gray hadn't heard the way each of them spoke when they introduced themselves, other than the handsome actor and the club leader's debut, so he couldn't properly have a semblance of their true nature. As he waited for one of them to pull the trigger back and take the shot, the girl that the fiery red-headed chick called Tori took the ball and stood up on the plate. Apparently her real name was Victoria Haris, but preferred the name Tori. He wouldn't infringe on why she decided to make the choice of going with that part of her name, but he could probably easily discern her reason. "She seems to be rather friendly and sort of down to earth for the most part, however I can see that she is very discoverable with the presence of Sidney. She is putting on a good act, I'll give her that, but why does she have to keep it all bottled up? I mean, she is pulling off the act rather well, but it isn't healthy to be performing such a feat." As he felt the tension between Tori and Sidney, both of which he had no familiarity with... in fact, he honestly didn't know a single person in this room, other than feeling that Andy was in a few of his classes. Either way he would finally procure knowledge of these people instead of being a loner... to an extent. Swiftly as the first introduction end, he was barraged with two new faces, neither of which he could recall. The first who came in also donned glasses like Andy and watch rather bemused as he question if this was the location of the S.P.I.R.I.T. club. He didn't condemn his question as it was reasonable to procure an answer just in case you went to the wrong locale. The second who entered came in with their head held high and no sort of solicitous voice or vexation in her body language as she strolled in. He didn't dislike her way of introducing herself but he felt that there was a bit of truth in her statement as there was no one in reality who could be considered truly normal. That wasn't the point as he felt there was something not only in her final sentiment, but the way she spoke it that made him ponder on feeling something truly different about the lady. Then again, maybe it was just his own imagination playing tricks on him. ... Ok, there were three who came in who were late; a blonde chick who was adorned with myriads of tattoos which she displayed boldly as she waltz in. She was a bit buff, if not slightly buffer than him which he didn't mind. She enjoyed to work out and such, that was her jig and he wouldn't judge... in fact, he really didn't judge by anything but one thing. Looking at a cover gives you an idea, reading enlightens you with the whole story. As the girl bellowed her question, Andy gave a similar response as before to the others who were clueless about where the club was. The boy seemed a bit outspoken in a positive sense and friendly to the mass of people who were late that were of different styles to boot. The diversity was interesting to say the least as myriads of people you wouldn't normally expect to be in a peculiar club like this. It seemed most of them found such appeal in a prospect, however he was soon shown to be incorrect after that Sidney girl conjured up her intro. First off, she responded with an insult to the boy that... didn't really affect him at all. Even though her tongue was sharp, Gray wasn't bothered about the slice she made, or so he made others think. He kept his calm demeanor, not daring to respond her since he came to the conclusion that this wasn't the time to be responding to such petty matters. Let her descend to that level, but he wasn't going to stoop down even lower and deliver a nail to what appeared to be her pride as she droned on about how great she was. Then she went off the deep end and made a jab... no, punch at this whole club, calling it farce while berating them all by calling them mere jokers. If anything, this was a bold and crude way to make herself known. Gray thought of her as the kid who always kicked down a magnificent sand castle someone or a bunch of children built up, then went on to call their skills trash. Sidney tried to deprive the others of fun that they wanted to have. He wanted to respond to her, calling her out by saying she was no better than them - actually, they were honestly better than her. Even though they believed in nonexistent things, they kept the gall to hold their tongues instead of releasing a kraken. In a sense, the ones with a vivid imagination were much more mature than a teenager who tried so hard to act like a big girl when in a sense, she was turning into something she wasn't most likely. ... That's what Gray interpreted for himself as Andy handled the situation in a calm and refined state which proved his thought process to be in the green, however he felt the boy with the glasses was really into this stuff as he responded to the girl. Anyways, if he recalled before that big ordeal, a boy named Connie Sweets interjected himself into the clubs room and made everyone cognizant of his presence by introducing himself. He couldn't tell much about him since he recently came in, other than the fact that he would most likely be very pleasant to be around due to the air he gave. The next was the basher girl which reminded him of a loli during his time in Japan. He had taken note of a few of the girls who looked like that, but never gave it a second thought. Anyways, as she went on to introducing herself, he said her as... someone who had a volatile personality as she mumbled something that he barely managed to catch. Gray slightly frowned as she made such a humble and worthwhile comment, finding it to be unnecessary under these circumstances. Well, whatever, if that was his sexuality, they didn't have to go and make a fuss of it. Hopefully she would restrain from doing that from time to time, but he could only hope. "That minor comment was rude and didn't pertain to anything useful other than bullying another about their sexuality. If he was into guys, he was into guys, no need to make fun of him under your breath... I must of been mistaken, ugh... Next time I need to judge others characters a bit more closely at first glance. Hopefully she will hold her tongue next time... Hopefully" He let out a sigh as he slightly frowned at the girl who left such an inexcusable comment be released. Eventually his attention on her dropped as a girl draped in midnight set herself on the stage. She seemed to be... very normal out of this group of people, in a sense, down to earth normal. Though he wondered if that was the case, he studied her further, and came to the final conclusion about her for now. It was evident that she was quiet and possibly... shyed away from others? The latter was an inference, but what matters is he liked the girl as she kept the spectrum's in balance. "Like some of the other girls, she not only has a cute exterior, but and internally appealing one too. Don't know much about the chick, but I can tell she won't cause problems. I know that she'll be a great person to hang around... However, I can't help but feel..." As the introductions eventually came to a close, he came to learn of everyone and who they were. The punk woman was a transfer student who came from out of the country like him. Theresa made a snarky comment which made him roll his eyes before flipping his hair a bit as he cocked and eyebrow at her response. Like Lilith and Sidney, she singed mud at someone who painted a target on themselves before jesting about a haunted toilet. Gray covered his face and shook it as this escalated, wondering if this foul possibly get any worse. ... Wish and you shall receive as Brody bursted out into tears as he slammed a desk into the ground with a mere kick as he mumbled something. The boy was in shambles, however he didn't do much except make a sarcastic insult. As the boy reacted in a corrosive way, Brody let the room in a swift matter, making his existence fleeting. Andy didn't know how to respond to this, except by saying they should go begin their investigation before leaving with Theresa in tow. The boy was the third at the door, but before traversing out, he stopped briefly. It was a wonder what was going through his head, but then he swiftly pivoted around and slowly walked up to the girl who insulted the boy in a whisper, appearing discontent and imposing as he looked at the girl fiercely. "You know, that was completely unnecessary! Making fun of the guy because of his sexuality is low, you know that? Just because he likes the same gender doesn't mean he has warranted the right to be assaulted by your tongue. I know he seemed... less than enthusiastic but you do realize what you did was wrong, or am I incorrect? Did you not consider the way a person feels about such a thing and decide to hurt him for shits and giggles? Or do you just go under the presumption that he wouldn't be hurt? Whatever the case was, grow the fuck up, mature, drink milk, whatever, just realize what you've done wrong. I may not know much about the guy, but I'm not letting this go unrequited. Once we find the guy, I'm hauling you over to him and I want you to genuinely apologize to him, got it?! It isn't right for someone to be chastised for being who they are, unless they need a reality check and you my friend need one." With that said, he let out a breath of hair with a slightly neutral-aggressive facial expression as he pivoted around and made his way towards the door. As his hair moved from side to side, he came to a stop yet again as he stop in front of the door. He turned his head, bent his arm so it made a ninety degree angle and pointed at Sidney before announcing something to her as he squinted at her, know she was possible going to attempt to get the last lip most likely if he didn't put himself in. "Also, don't you bother making a bargain bin insult like you did to me earlier. Whats said is said, you don't need to make a big deal out of it and go off on your childish rants. I request only one thing and its to keep your trap shut for at least five minutes unless you legitimately have something useful to say for once during a club meeting. Use your breath wisely and don't waste it on meaningless insults because you are going to have to try harder if you want to rile me up... Anyways, see you guys at the bathroom, best we get started on crackin' this case, you know?" Gray looked at each each he didn't speak to in the last couple of minutes and gave them a legitimate smile. After the deed was set in stone, he stepped out of the room and headed in the direction of where the duo went. Gray kept his air of confidence as he left, not lying about his actions, living them truthfully as he walked after Andy and Theresa, wondering how they were faring, along with Brody who was hurt by words unleashed unintelligently. He didn't care how they responded as he kept moving forward, not ensnared by such trifling matters. ((I'll do the bathroom post in my next post, ok?))
